The legal minimum tread depth in the UK is 1.6mm across the central three quarters of the tyre width and around its entire outer circumference.

A tyre with less than 1.6mm tyre tread requires twice the braking distance of a new tyre.

Uneven tyre wear can cause steering misalignment.

Having the wrong tyre pressure whether high or low will cause rapid wear of the tyres.

Under-inflated tyres will increase fuel consumption.

• ALIGNMENT - Alignment is important for road holding and problems can cause rapid and abnormal tyre wear and wear on steering components. Even events such as hitting a kerb or driving through a pothole can result in misalignment.
• BALANCING - Incorrect balancing not only causes vibration in the steering wheel and dashboard but can also cost you money! Incorrect balancing causes premature wear of tyres and rapid wear of suspension parts.
• TYRE REPAIR- Before we commit to any repair we will closely inspect the tyre. We will make sure there is no secondary damage, worn tread or any other deterioration in the tyre.
